Badminton tickets go on sale today

KUALA LUMPUR: Badminton fans are in for the best bargain to catch the action in the Thomas-Uber Cup Asian Zone qualifying tournament, which begins on Monday at the Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium.

Fans can purchase a season pass for RM100 and it will enable them to watch all 46 ties in the tournament. Only 2,000 season passes will be up for sale.

Session tickets for group ties between Feb 16 and 20 have been priced at RM7 (morning) and RM10 (evening). Morning sessions begin at 9am while the evening’s action starts at 7pm.

Tickets for the semi-finals and final have been priced at RM25 and RM30 respectively.

There is also a special package for schoolchildren.

For all morning session group ties, the ticket is priced at RM7 and for every five tickets purchased, they will get one free.

I've asked my sister from KL to purchase tickets for 21st and 22nd this morning. She called up Axcess and the person told her that not able to reserve any ticket.

She went down personally to get the tickets in the afternoon, tickets for 21st cost RM27 and 22nd cost RM32 ...

She told me there are plenty of seats/tickets still available.
It is free sitting however it is divided into section 1 and section 2. She got for me section 1.. Any idea the difference? thks

btw, anybody going to watch the matches on these two days?

Tickets for the whole day matches on 21st and 22nd cost ringgit 25 and 30, respectively. The extra 2 ringgit for each ticket is probably sales tax. I got myself two season passes at a total cost of ringgit 210, inclusive of 5% sales tax.
Are Yonex and Gosen setting up any promotion booths to promote their racquets and strings, with deeply discounted prices? Maybe, we should ask Sunrise in Singapore.

Hi all. I went down to KL (Lot 10) and bought tickets for the 22nd. Theres still lots available. The lady at the counter said that sales will likely pick up 2 or 3 days before the event.
