Hi I need a bit of help I bought a UK Voltric 70 a second time from directsportseshop.com and the design and length is different to my friends voltric 70, the letters on the new "voltric" logo are much much more thicker and the racket only measures 670mm where as my friends one measures to 675mm his racket was made in 11/2010 and my new one in 08/2013. Doe's anyone have anymore information on this as it looks genuine and everything else matches. Thanks
The fact that you bought from the best online retailer in UK and the biggest authorised Yonex retailer in UK should give you confidence that your racket is genuine. i have no idea why the two rackets are so different but at lest you can be certain you have the real thing. Yes, I have bought from them previously and had no problem but this one is very weird as I can understand if the logo was changed slightly but the overall size as well?...just doesn't make sense to change the physical features?
Heres the picture comparing the two rackets as you can see the bottom one is much more bold in the writing (much more obvious in person) which I have never seen before even on online images
i have also noticed the new fonts on the VT80 standard design. However i doubt there has been a change to the length of the racket on the VT70, I reccomend you check again.
Checked again and again, its roughly 670mm compared to the orginal one which is 674mm when I put them together you can see its shorter
I would suggest that if you wanted to know the real length of your voltric 70, to cut the strings out let it sit for a bit and then measure it, it'll most likely go back to ~675mm Can you take a picture of both the racket heads?
