Lee HI! Yeah! He has a shot of winning the whole thing I think. If he has trained reasonably hard to stay in match-form.

Wow Kido/Pia participate in this tournament. But I'm not sure they will win the game. There's no China players.

It is with regret that Jan Ø Jørgensen has had to withdraw from this event due to suffering from Malaria. He will be replaced in the draw by Hans-Kristian Vittinghus.

No WS or WD? Probably because Danish WS is too weak. But Juhl/Pedersen is red hot right now after beating 2 top Chinese WD's last week.

Lee Hyun Il back to his best, cool, calm and collected, and playing a near flawless game, so accurate and consistent in his shots in beating the effervescent HKV. I think it takes speed, power and accuracy in good measure to tackle Lee HI; easier said than done; very few can do it.

Today, my bet's on him to beat Viktor Axelsen.

All Danish finals except MS, youngster Axelsen v veteran Lee HI. The Korean should be favourite to win here.

Excellent play by Viktor Axelsen to beat the Comeback King Lee Hyun Il. He showed maturity beyond his 19 years of age by playing a bit more controlled game instead of rushing to attack and was able to read the crafty rallying tactics of the vastly experienced veteran. I venture to say Viktor will prove a worthy successor to the Evergreen Peter Gade in the near future.

But consistency is the key to the top which is wanting in Viktor so far. Let's see if he can do it from now on.
