I HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS. ALL OF A SUDDEN I AM EXPERIENCING A PAIN IN MY BACK,IT IS NOT THAT INTENSE BUT IT IS STILL THERE.THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL IS THAT I DO NOT HAVE PAIN WHILE I AM PLAYING NOT AT ALL,BUT AFTER PLAYING AND BEFORE PLAYING I SUFFER FROM THE PAIN SPECIALLY WHEN I TRY TO BEND FORWARD.THE PAIN IS IN THE BACK CENTRE JUST ABOVE THE HIPS. HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM,WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET RID OFF THIS PAIN.ANY SPECIAL EXERCISES OR JUST REST ,WHAT TO DO PLEASE TELL ME .. BADMINTON IS MY LIFE I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IT :crying:
Probably go see a physio and a doctor. By the way, you have a problem with the caps lock on your keyboard.
Youtube has some great videos on back stretches. As suggested above might want to consult a professional before doing the stretches.
There are millions of people having this problem, hardened back tissue. The main cause is either job related(doing repetitive action) or not doing enough exercise. To correct it, you need to soften the muscle. In order to do that, as CHEUNG said, you need the guidance of a doctor. If I were you, I would go to see a doctor right away and please do not copy any advice from Yourtube.
