I just bought a Victor Bravesword 12 off my friend and I was wondering if it was fake or not. The butt cap has does not have "Taiwan" written under the logo and it has a "matte" feel instead of glossy like some of the other ones I've seen.

The paint job seems fine to me and the grommets are red at the 2-3 o'clock and 9-10 o'cock positions.

    Specs:
    Code: TWE8147098
    Weight: 3U G2
    Balance: HH OO@OO HL
    Stiffness: S OO@OO F

Not all Victor rackets are made in Taiwan. Some models like the BS12 are made in China, hence the buttcap does not have the glossy feel with the "Taiwan" under the logo. My BS12 and BSLHI which are made in China, Nanjing also have similar "matte" feel buttcap like yours.

    It should be real.
I bought one from an authorized retailer in Taiwan coded TWL8531473 with the same type of butt cap as yours.
