Ants, you have to be more careful and baby your racquets - hitting with less force. Otherwise this thread will turn into "resting place to Ants' soldiers at arms"

On a different note, you have the honour of being the first person to break your ns9000 on this forum. Even before most have had a chance to try them out...

ants, i think if the racket broke during normal use and not arising out of impact, it could be manufacturing defect. the bottom of the shaft could be already defective, possibly metal fatigue..

    (just guessing)

the racuqet broke probably because you are not the higher level of player where you get the right feeling and spot you hit on the racuqet. you would hit the wrong part of the racuqet very hard. or probably the tension is high and thus, causing it to break.its better to train yourself first from a normal racquet than to get an expensive one.

    that's a very quick assumption...I hope you don't mean Ants....from what I hear he can play ball,,,good....

most shaft breaks are from overflexing, right?is that what happened with ants' weapon?

So, which comes first? The chicken (Ants) or the egg (racquet)?

I lost my MP88 to a nasty clash twice!!! with a beginner... that was a bad mistake playing with my nice racket with him. He had some steel beast, and steped right next to me to steal my forehand clear on my side of the court.... grrr, looked down at it when i had time to look at it properly just to see that it had cracked along the grommits in the two oclock position

I was gutted as i had only had it for no more than 5 months....but hey i brought a MP99.... that racket was soooo much better for me so its all good in the end although the cost soon racks up.

Looking through these forums i see all the slain AT700's i have just got one and i hope mine doesnt suffer the same fate!

p.s. the MAX power 99 was great when i noticed it said that on the shaft lol

Here's my Prince More+87, although it has been repaired since then and has been in action for more than 6 months. Broken due to a collision with a certain "Dave" after he managed to smash into my racket instead of an en route shuttle!
