The 40lbs one will be the Ultra you're thinking of. I think the trinity is 30 to 35lbs.
I strung this at 27lbs, but since I already cut the strings, Dink's generous warranty wouldn't apply
(plus it looks pretty beat up!!)
Still lasted me quite a while though, very satisfied with the performance!Last edited by gsloh; 07-27-2010 at 07:01 AM.

This is why I don't really play doubles. But so far, all my rackets never really died. Coma, maybe. LoL!
I usually get broken strings at least once a week. Also, metal chipped of from the frames and some scrapes.

Another one bites the dust!
ANother of my trusty PP Trinity's died on me today.

Scraped the floor defending a smash, and then died on the very next shot when I tried smashing.

I guess this is the first broken 8DX in this thread. This baby is less than 3 months old. It's 3UG5 and strung @ 26lbs.
Am I right to say that this racket has the highest warranted tension in Yonex range? 27lbs for a 3U.
Sadly, the frame wasn't as tough as I thought it should be. Having said that, I am planning to purchase a new one because this racket has been fantactic so far.
It was not even a massive clash with my partner's racket. His racket came out unscratched. We went for the birdie. I was doing an overhead shot and he was using his backhand. The rest is history......
The gruesome photo follows:-

Haha, that wasn't the case actually

. I like everything about the T1, except for the paint finish.
The scratches and scrapes on the frame head were from picking shuttles up! We've mainly got wooden floor where we play, and the halls get used for basketball and indoor football as well. So the floor can get pretty much covered up with grit and dirt, which hastens the scratching.
The scrape on the floor didn't actually kill it though, it opened a chink in the armor for my smash to sentence it to death, unfortunately!

Victor super star, I think it is a cheaper version of the Artery series for Asia market, around the same price as Yonex Nanospeed 200. . .
