Dearly Beloved, We are gathered here, at this post, to cherish our Fallen Comrads who has sacrificed their carbon fibres and titanium meshes to give pleasure & andrenalin to our "lives-within-the-lines". These Comrads has smashed Life into the other side of the Barrier but has also returned Life in the best way it can. No one should blame solely on our Comrads when we fail, but we should share our failures as two halves of a whole, and learn better ways to return the Life to the other side with energy & essence. I hereby submit my Fallen to this final resting place.... (Please post a picture, a requirement, of your "fatally wounded" Fallen plus any final words.)
Wait till I get my Canon S45 (after deliberating for about a month deciding with one I should get!) later this month. My Ti-5 Light is still around somewhere! -dave
Mr. Cappy75 has just recently lost a loved one... "my beloved CAB20 MS died a swift but defiant death" This place of bereavement will gladly accept your Fallen Comrad. Services will be announced as soon as you post a picture plus any final words.
Well, I didn't know we have a priest here Here is a MP-100 from my Russian friend. He broke it 6 months ago and put it into trashcan, but I picked it up and treated it as a sovenier (because he has left here and went back to Russia) # is 3297408 041014DK
Hey Break-My-String, Thanks! I would love to eulogize my beloved CAB20 MS if it weren't for the cheesy factor. The racquet is currently interred in a Pointfore racquet bag (no choice, the original yonex velvet bag is in Edmonton). I will post pics online when I get a digicam.
Heh! No worries about it. My folks just came down from Edmonton a few days ago and brought a whole bunch of my stuff along. My beloved CAB20MS has now been properly interred in its original bag.
Ti-5 Light And here's mine. Lent it to a beginner-intermediate, 10 mins later this is what's returned to me plus 50% orig price as compensation.
Hey Dave, so you finally got yourself that S45? And kwun, is that a Ti-10 I see? Your partner must have had those titanium implants in his knuckles like Wolverine to be able to crack the Ti-10... -Rick
Hehehehe ... I broke down and went up a model ... G3 at CAD 799, Lens & Shutters on Broadway/Blenheim ... the last remaining unit. -dave
Oh man.. those are really ugly picture.. recently i saw my fren bought 2 victor rackets.. one broke at 5 and 6 o'clock ( i think its manufacturer defect ) and other one broke at 5 oclock as well. Hmmm bad for victor reputation.
lol....and there was victor saying they were the finest crafted racquets with the best feel and touch......
wow, what did you hit? concrete wall? I am glad that I still have 2 brand new Cab22 in here (I am going to save them for good)
The chip came 3 weeks ago when I was executing a high backhand clear from right court, during warm-up. For some unknown reason, this beginner took a full swing at the shuttle, COMPLETELY oblivious to me standing in front of her, and made contact with my racket. Three weeks after and one restring later - Today at Collingwood, my racket felt spongy and "wrong." Took a look at the top profile and saw the first picture. Upon close examination, I saw the 2nd picture. WHATTAYAMEAN "again"?! *sigh* -dave
