Plus, it is known that people tend to bid at the last minute......and there is no way to notify people like that.
I actually contacted the person that has the previous highest bidder $285....and it looks like he/she listened as he retracted his bid. Wow $285 for some fake racquet would have hurt

Default I have sent an e-mail to invite the seller visit here.

    He He!!

I have sent an e-mail to sportsinternational and invite him to visit BC. If he is selling real Yonex, I trust he must attend into this site.

It is possible to contact seller via e-bay.

Well, the winning bid is now $275. $275 + 35 shipping for 2 fake racquets would still hurt.

    the serials are different:

    one is 4798656
    other is 4798661

they do have the same date code, 010342SP. but there is nothing that says rackets cannot be made in the same day.

    Agree.

2 of my cab30ms got the same serial# on cone (manufactured on the same date), but the ones on shaft are different.

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with the serials like that.

However, in the pics, I hardly can see any CSC cap, and that's something wrong.

Those two are low quality fakes without a second doubt.

The paint on the shaft isn't correct along with Fake Cases and the shape of the frame look somewhat oval instead of isometric.

The head frame looks ISO enough to me. However, the cone is more like the Carlton type...

So far, I did not find any ways to identify non-yonex racket. Also, I never saw any fake wilson rackets in the market yet. According to my experience, over 95% of the fakes in the market are targeting at yonex.

    Angry My email to sportsinternational

    Hey all,

I was one of those bidders who was just about to win the auction for a pair of fake Armortec 300s on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT).

I had my doubts about authenticity of the rackets and after visiting these forums, I decided to write to the seller.

Here's a copy of my email to him/her:
    Hello Abby,

I contacted you before regarding shipping on one of your auctions. Now, I am the highest bidder on your current auction for the Armortec 300s.

I am a member of BadmintonCentral.com and there is a lot of discussion about your rackets being fake. Please see http://www.badmintoncentral.com/foru...5&page=6&pp=18 for a complete discussion of what others are saying about you.

If any of this is untrue, I urge you to post in those forums to clear your name. If I don’t see a post from you, I will assume that their allegations are true and will thus give me good cause to not buy from you.

It will also give me cause to contact eBay with this very same information I am sending you.

    Best regards,

    Anna
My bid was subsequently cancelled by the seller without an answer and the poor guy who bid the next highest was about to win. So I contacted him and referred him here so he can make up his own mind.

The auction, as of this writing, has about 2 hours before it closes. I hope no one gets suckered.

    Anna

If anyone's interested, the seller sportsinternational left this as the explanation why my bid was cancelled:

Explanation: i do not want to respond in that forum.
