At 800 0
Hi,
Recently, i got a fake AT 800 however it is very good. The grommets are real, the balance is good, cosmetics are accurate, build quality is good, serial is engraved. However is it possible some fakes use better material or at least not just graphite. Can i tell if the material is real or if it isnt only graphite?

Concerning "lilierk", I still have not gotten my racquet...which I payed via paypal on September/early October.
If she did get into an accident, I hope she is better....However, my badminton has suffered...and I would really like to get that racquet that I won...
I won a Ti SP SX and feel like I was robbed.
Best,
Ilham

I have been contacted by Albert who is friend of Lili, and hopefully he will help settle things.
I will keep all posted.

Take a look at this item ; it is pretty funny;;;;
http://cgi.ebay.com/YONEX-NS-7000-BA...QQcmdZViewItem
The item says NS7000 at the top & then in the detailed description he mentions NS8000; If you look at the picture closely the racket shaft looks like an NS7000 but it actually says NS8000; how funny..

To all:
By the way, the fakes sellers list has been updated today and everyone should do your homework before you bid on any rackets on eBay!!

Thanks
for the info. My g/f bought this for me as a belated birthday present, she does not know about the possibilities of it being a fake

I'll keep you informed. Hopefully they won't send it if they value their 100% feedback

Here is the reply
I got from them this morning
It is with great regret and the greatest apology, I come to let you know, that I’ve been had. I have fallen a victim of a scam. With all the good intentions in the world I purchased a load of the Badminton ns7000 and ns8000 rackets, I was assured of being authentic, bla bla bla… I listed them as such, and then the emails and info I received from potential buyers and actual buyers like you, prompted me to look into it further, and found out that these rackets I listed as authentic, are actually fakes.
If you look at my over 1160 feedbacks all 100% positive and 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, you will understand why I am sending you this email. I cannot and will not sell you something that IS NOT what you paid for. Therefore, what you paid will be refunded to you immediately. I already discontinued the listings.
But before I give you the refund, I need to ask you an honest question and hope you give me an honest answer. Knowing that what I am offering you is not an Authentic Yonex, but good enough to have fooled a lot of people including me, would you be willing to buy it from me, maybe for practice, or whatever, for only $50.00 with free shipping? If YES, I will credit your account the balance. If NO, I will credit your account the full amount.
Please get back to me ASAP so I can put this matter to sleep, and then take my case with my supplirer.
Regrets and regards,
Chelsea
Needless to say I did not take up the offer of a fake $50 racket!!!!!

Glad you're getting your money back and that's an honest eBayer.

honest or not, he was still trying to sell fakes at the end to minimize his lost.

With $50 on the price, heck, you can still make a lot out of it.

thanx
for the quick hands up Blue Jeff
My g/f was slightly upset when she found out she had been 'had' but feels better now that the money is coming back.
I've never actually played with Yonex anyway so maybe it's a blessing in disguise. she's taking me shopping instead to Badminton alley for anew racket
