    The seller agreed to give me a full refund of the purchase price, but i have to absorb the shipping cost. i dont mind that, what a relief! just won another nanospeed 8000 from lilierk06, who i read has slow shipping times, but is an honest seller, so hopefully i'll get my money's worth now. thanks heaps for all your help and advice!

    The number looks a little low for that date code;
    very likely a fake

    Also........this racket is suppose to be new......... And yet it doesn't come with the racket bag?..................Smells fishy to me. Also the code says it was made in 2004, that is a long time ago.

    The cone serial writting looks too white/printed and not laser etched? could be the photo.

    You can go to their website & email them with your numbers, but that serial number is defenitely low for that date code; you can always double check with Yonex though....

    According to the data chart we have, seems for shaft serial # 49296** should be manufactured in May 2004. The racket is listed made in June 2004, so, it's off the curve.

    Probably a fake.

    Default xinsports

    i am looking at the xinsports store ebay thing, just wondering who has bought from that ebay account before, the price just seems too good to be true?

    i have bought a fake racquet before, so i am prevent that from happening again.

    and has anyone bought a prestrung racket and have it air mailed before? i heard that the air pressure kinda loosens the strings

    Do a search for 'xinsports'. You will find that xinsports is an actual badminton store in Melbourne, and that many people have bought products from them without problems. I have not bought from them, but have visited their store (they seem nice).

    They are good fakes;
    From the pictures it is tough to tell but heres a give away;
    In the NS8000 picture he has the bottom most string going through B7 & for the NS series there is no way he can get 2 strings (both cross & main) through hole 7.

    It's fake - instant give away because of the "o" in Yonex is incorrect.
