I bought a fake racquet from seller tilalium (looks similar, right? The 2 user names started the same day). I returned it and he gave me refund. Now that seller has the user ID of alienwaxe.

A real one has the RnD which is "supposed" to make it able to play better and has better quality control, for the most part, do not have the quality control and RnD, but if it is a well made fake, u might even like it better then the real thing because it is generally lighter and the flexibility might be different. Just don't string it at a high tension . If you are on a tight budget you can consider buying other brands which are more inexpensive but yet play very well (Carlton Wilson Toalson) other brands like (Proace Apacs) for the most part can only be found in Asia.

I'm a new user. Hello. I noticed that same ebay seller too. His shipping to US was $20.00. and begins at $0.99. I didn't buy it but it was totally bound to be a fake.

I purposely bought a fake racket for $20.00 in asia. I admittingly think though it was really good. It was lighter, but it still packed a punch, so I was actually happier with the fake racket rather than the real rackets I have.

Well I am looking for a Nano 9000 X but here in Canada, they cost 280$+tx which is quite ridiculous if you look prices on the net... This guy from Australia also gives out serial number... The laser series number is 59773xx~59776xx / 0403633 JP.

    here is the link:

umm, there's only 6 numbers in the date code...so i am guessing they're fakes. Also, the serial number should be in the 6 million range for racquets produced in march. Lastly, where it says "Elastic Ti"...should say "Gunmetal" since its a JP racquet so yes, its fake.

Since Canada adds duties and taxes to products being imported, the prices are being reflected as the customer is paying for it, which explains the higher price. The NS9K can be obtained for like $245 CDN if you look at the right places.

The Ebay is not valid because it is a counterfeit racket.

Hey Matt, is your price from a retail store? Here in Toronto, I don't think I've ever seen such a low price from a retail store such. I'm planning to get mine from hk but I guess if you want assurance for genuine products, you got to pay a premium.

    Hi Ryim,

Yes that is from a Yonex authorized retail store in Vancouver, where I go to get my rackets stringed. The price is something like that, do not exactly recall but it's definately not 280+.

    Matt
