Can somene check to see if these are fakes? I think they are fakes cause noone has bid on them... http://stores.ebay.ca/sportscanadatrust I was gonna buy one, but something doesn't seem right...

Hey guys,

I am amazed by how prevalent fake racquets are on ebay. I just surf around on ebay and I found approximately 80% of the Yonex racquets are fake. It seems like it is getting worse. Should we do something about it? I think we should notify ebay and have them do something about it or I should just mind my own business.

This fake problem is getting worse and worse every year. As the quality of fakes is improving, more and more people bought them without ever knowing it.

The painting quality of fake is improving for sure, but I doubt the actually quality. With the cost of everything is increasing, I won't even surprise the quality (playability) of fakes are DECREASING, as if the intention is to rip off others, as long as you have the good paiting, who cares about the material and workmanship, the cheaper the better...

Not trying to destroy any ebayer's business. I know sumai03 selling real yonex, and i know several local friends purchased their rackets through him as well, with lower than US market retail price.

However, the shipping and warranty issue could be a factor when you shop oversea. There was a post just several days ago, a member claimed that he has to throw in at least another US$60+ to "possibly" get a replacement TH racket (not sure if from sumai03 or other ebayer). Of course, the chance might be slim, but do you want to take additional risk, on top of a huge risk of getting a fake?

Sometimes, saving $35 is good. Sometimes, the so-call saving could be a nightmare if things happen...

Think twice...

Then we can go by the new rule of thumb

it won't happen, yonex will invent a new model before then and
fakes will jump into this new bandwagon

I have just registered with BC and this is my first post. I was also wondering about this seller http://stores.ebay.ca/sportscanadatrust . I noticed he's from Edmonton and so am I. So I decided to contact him to see if he's willing to meet so I can inspect his racquets. To my suprise, he responded within a day and agreed to meet. This was Monday. I emailed him back suggesting to him the best time to meet but so far I have not received any response. The lack of response may already be telling us something. If you want, I can keep you posted on my progress.

Also, I would like to know what is the significance of the PBSI sticker? What racquets do you find the sticker on? And which one you shouldn't? Thanks.
