Suggestion: try not to be snippy or your chances of receiving help will be greatly diminished.

I agree with DinkAlot. You also need to some research on your own as well.

When i recieved a fake, it was also like that, and when i ripped the sticker off, there was a date code, just supremely fake, like 27(most fake racquet i noticed started with 27) 270382SP.
In reality, the sticker would be on the opposite side of the cone of the serial number, and the sticker, an small oval shape.Last edited by andone; 11-20-2006 at 08:31 PM.

There're not much indications which I can identify the racquet is fake but I'm 100% sure the bag is fake with the "O" on the picture.

Hi guys! I sent a few question to seller akumabox and he replyed that the serial number on the racket is 5334107, but that doesn't mean much if a dont know the release date is that correct? The only thing that bothers me is following. Before I discovered this site I sent 4 previous buyers of this racket which they all bought this racket from akumabox and warned them about eventual fraud and they all replyed to me that they are satisfied with the racket and they think its genuine. What about that...

It means nothing. The counterfit sellers will try to defend themselves. Thinking that a product is genuine does not mean it is genuine - a misconception when it comes to the truth.

Might want to read this article here.Last edited by Matt; 11-21-2006 at 03:30 AM.

Also, check this out.

1. There's some holographic sticker where the Logo is supposed to be. It's supposed to be inked on, not sticked on.
2. SERIAL! PRINTED! NOT ENGRAVED!
3. There's a sticker covering the date code. Not so sure about this, but could be suspicious.
4. The grip looks awkward. It just does. Look in the other pic. The wrapper isn't supposed to have a big "YONEX" sign on it. Weird.
So, yeah, It's just quite obvious.

Yes it's fake, but your information is also inaccurate.

Yeah. Just wondering, is it the "O" you're talking about? If it is, it could just be the angle of view. I dont know.

Yes, its the "O" It's too obvious. Normally this should be the first thing which gives it away instantly.

hey everyone ive been noticing alot of highend rackets sold on ebay are TH version since retaile prices are lower...im wondering since all high end yonex are made in japen is there really a difference in performace and quality between a TH and a CD version racket? if yes...how so?
-
11-26-2006, 11:49 AM #2140
Please search forums before asking this kind of question
But anyway, supposedly, the quality of all the versions are the same
There are rumors, however, that JP and CN are "better", though in my own opinion, they're no better than TH or TW or CD
One main thing though, is that you lose the warranty
Hope this helps.
