and his feedback is pretty good...if they're fake how can so many ppl get tricked?

they buy it, they leave a positive feedback, then they realize its fake. or even worse, they don't even know its fake. not everyone can tell a genuine from a counterfeit one sold on ebay, which is the people who the fake sellers are aiming to make money off of.

ah i see now
also the distribution code, should that affect one's buying decision?
is JP worth the extra money?
12-12-2006, 05:38 PM #2185
I noticed the 4U is claimed the incorrect weight range too ROFL!!!!!!!
Bongo, it's both yes and no.
If you want to be able to do warrenty claims, if the racket is defective/breaks, then yes distribution code matters. Then you would get the CD coded which is Canada.
No, if you do not care about warrenty claims. You can get any racket code you want, however if it breaks/defect, then you will have a harder time because you to send the racket back where it came from, or communicate to that particular Yonex distribution to deal with it.
The question about getting JP is completely up to you, since it is your money. Also don't forget, Canada customs for importation.

is it just a matter of warranty?
why are SP and TH rackets so much cheaper than JP rackets?
is it just a 'different salarise/standard of living' thing?
or are do jp rackets have better quality control or something

A while back i bought a racquet from this guy. 100% fake.
I also i noticed that most "fake" sellers say. genuine BRAND NEW.
Tehcnically, this is true, cause yes, it is REALLY BRAND NEW. However, if they wrote it like Genuine racquet, that's something different. Genuine brand new means nothing to weather or not it's completely authentic. (also check feed back like dinkalot explains.)

lol how does 'genuine brand new' not have anything to do with authentic!!
and i think they were saying how ppl leaving positive feedback either did it b4 they recieved the racket, or how they didnt know/couldnt do anything about it
...and the pic isnt necessarily what they send to u..
...so i guess theres like no way to know if its legit...:S

Oh there are ways to know if something is genuine or not.
It's just that fact that people are trying to get a good deal which lets themselves be a victim of this. Also these people in question do not doing research first before they purchase.
Most like an example, a music CD is selling for $10.00 dollars on Ebay. For sake of arguement the CD costs $23 dollars retail. They better look into to see if that is a genuine or not a bootleg.

Hi, I know tum98 is a trusted seller but he's selling a Yonex Armortec 700 4U/G5.
I thought Armortec does not have 4U/G5 (according to http://www.yonex.com/badminton/products/armortec.html)
I'm probably just being overly cautious but can someone let me know if I'm right about Yonex not having a 4U/G5 size for Armotec700? Thanks
