As someone want to buy from the seller directly, but also want to "win the auction and get the positive feedback", and then, seller creates a private auction just for speicifc buyer with pre-discussed amount.

1. Knowing the truth: buddies help each other to build "good reputation" while being more dangerous in the market by fooling ppl.
2. Don't know the truth: "winning big" by getting cheaper rackets, "losing huge" by getting ripped off.

Just a suggestion...
This thread is getting quite long and bluejeff's last post prompted an idea. I think it would be more convenient if there was one post that was updated (ideally, the first post) with all the names and details of the fake ebay sellers as oppposed to adding separate posts along the way.
This way, no one has to read through all the pages to follow along (or get burned too late). They can just read the first post to get to the list immediately.
This is done with most software related forums.
bluejeff, since you seem to be the all seeing eye on eBay and this thread's starter, could you take charge on this?

I also had both of them strung today at badmintonalley.com and the owner recognized the TH origin imidiately. However, he did not say it was fake.
I believe this dealer is legit.

Armortec 800 OF green?
Yikes! I'm bidding on a Yonex Armortec 800 OF that is green, like the defensive model. Do you guys think its fake, was it ever green?
Here's the auction, take a look at the pictures please
There's more pictures on the some link, the price was so low too, do you think it's too good to be true?
Here's a pic. Thanks in Advance

Well, you already know that the colour isn't correct, and on the auction site it is stated that the raqcuet is 2U. I thought that the Armortec-800 models only came in 3U and 4U

refer to post 335, please.
unfortunately, there IS reason to believe that the racquet listed is a fake. =\
i hope you can retract your bid somehow.
or hope someone outbids you...
