Is this where I post my inquiry for ebay purchases?
If so, please check if racket has legitimate serial #. Thank you.

---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
    racket model: Yonex Nanospeed 9900
    shaft serial: 7513715
    cone code : 251092CH
    source : ebay #180620783185, seller = inazir0308
    price : US$146
---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----

Seller claims the racket is genuine and was purchased from a genuine source.
He will refund if buyer is not satisfied.

I will give you more detail why it is fake

click the link, check the photo:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Yonex-Nano-Speed...#ht_500wt_1156

did you see there is an oval shape tag near the racket?
that alone already makes me suspicious it is a fake rackets
real Yonex racket do not have those tag
usually it is a fake racket who has that tag (and the tag would be in Chinese language)

also the number is too low for 2009 production

I see your explanation. Thank you.
I was torn with this racket even though I am also suspicious with its genuineness.
The reason is that it plays fantastic except there is vibration during contact.
It seems to be a high quality clone.

yup, you see the serial number?
    7XXXXXX
is too low for 2009 production

explanation: (I give it to you before.. oh well if you didn't read it)
    taken from my post:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/foru...ets-Phenomenon

Shaft serial is one of a kind serial number for each yonex racket that made in Japan (Yonex made in Taiwan has different way to number their racket)
That serial number shows you this is racket number XXX that yonex produce

Cone code is the date when they make the racket (and for which area this racket for):
It is based on DDMMYX(and 2 letter code area)
    D: day
    M: month
    Y: year

you racket shaft serial is 7XXXXXX
    with production date: 251092CH
25th of october 2009 for China distribution

7XXXXXX is actually for production year 2007-2008

but you cone code said something different
it says, your racket is racket that produced in 2009

which means it does not match up, that is why we know it is FAKE

This works a lot easier, how do you use item and seller id anyway? http://cgi.ebay.com/Genuine-Yonex-Na...t=AU_Badminton

Calibre Sports is a reliable source in any case but why get it all the way from Australia?

Rackets are legit but as you can see from the feedback, make sure first he has them in the US already. I bet if you had googled his username you would've ended up in this thread already ...

Here is another option that seems to be fine so far: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Yonex-Nanosp...QQcmdZViewItem

    And why the 9900?

Thanks, I bought one yesterday from a local store here for $240 strung with NanoGy95 at 24. I tested a demo 9900 and really like the feel of it, plus I mostly play doubles so it suits my needs.

Move along, nothing remotely genuine to see. Keeping in mind the cone code = date of production in the DD/MM/Y format that would make this the 18th of the 69th month on 2005. For one the NS9900 wasn't even released back then ...
Care to give use the ebay account/username? Any NS9900 under USD $150 should be treated with suspicion ...
