Hi guys, could anyone help me to verify this guy on ebay? His or her name is cysltcy and he or she is selling this particular racket at http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/200455702...84.m1438.l2649. It looks a little dodgy but I would like to us if anyone has bought anything from this seller.

That is a second hand racket, he is not a dealer from the looks of it. Looks alright but the shaft and cone numbers aren't visible ...
Don't think there's reason to worry ...

Hi guys, have been looking for a NS9900 in the UK for a while and just found this one on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190576063054#ht_500wt_ 1156
What do you think? The seller has posted the serial numbers at the bottom - shaft number 8465878, cone number 210492IP. Starting price is very low which is what concerns me.

it is a FAKE racket
the voltric bag looks pretty round (which is actually shaped like coffin if you buy a real VT80)
even if it does looks like coffin, JP racket comes with soft cloth bag..
the price is too low for the real one
Class G? there is no such thing as "Class" in Yonex racket. only fake racket that has it.
sunrise logo on a JP racket: is that even exist?
oval logo?
lastly the shaft serial is too low for the cone code.
P.S: cool, the seller has all tye of fakes in his store.. from N90 to VT80, to BS11
I can also assure you his string is also fakeLast edited by Avenger; 09-25-2011 at 03:36 PM.

this one should be fine, btw, it is VT80 Limited Edition (different paint job)
Squash_mart is a BC member (name in BC: Squash Eric) and many people bought from him before (including me)
if you buy from him and need replacement grip, buy also his RKEP grip (try Power Master: http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-x-RKEP-POW...ht_4059wt_1270), one of the best grip out there, comparable with Karakal PU super grip
if you only need over grip, usually Eric gives you 3 RKEP overgrip if you buy a racket from him..
for the second one?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-YONEX-VO...#ht_546wt_1396
can't really help, but as far as I remember this person also sell a genuine racket
but please, don't take my word about this seller as I cannot check the cone code and shaft serial
there are not enough pictures for me to identify if it's a genuine racket or not
you can ask the seller about the shaft serial and the cone code and post it here so we can help

Hi guys, just want to ask about this particular racket. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/YY-ArcSab...#ht_7756wt_901 It might be a bit tough but I hope that someone can help me out. Thanks!

nope, it is not tough
welcome to world of fake racket
this "bigshow" seller is pretty famous selling FAKE racket
this guy is the worst out of all fake seller, why? he blantanly saying it is fake and selling it for sky high price (yes he gained $100 PROFIT from EACH racket he sold, or maybe more than that)
yes, expect it is fake
let me make it clear
yonex racket does not come with box
the soft cloth bag has wrong font
what is that 30t on the cone code? does it ever exist?
JP code with sunrise, meh..
gift: fake grip and fake string, good luck!
there is no such thing as "class" in Yonex racket (he said that his racket is class G which is the best one, of course it is wrong)

Hi, i am a newbie both @ forum and badminton
I have been playing with my brother really amateurly about 2 months.
We broked 4 racquets. It is not because of dropping them or hitting racquets to somewhere. They were just smashed to the parts. Really bad quality. Wooden grips etc...
I want to buy 2 new racquets and this time better ones. I am not so experienced even i read lots of topics. Most of members says like, It is not matter which racquet since u are an amateur
Nevermind, in my country, quality racquets really overpriced. I can pay 80$ for 2 racquets. So i searched e-bay a bit and found those ones. And i know that models from topic that i read. So i guess they fits for us. I hope they are not fake and fits for newbies, thanks for ur comments.
Seller: sun_daniel8868
Racquet: New YONEX VOLTRIC 80 VT 80 Badminton Racket Racquet YY
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-YONEX-VOLTRIC-80-VT-80-Badminton-Racket-Racquet-YY-/250907259887?pt=AU_Badminton&hash=item3a6b3cf3ef#p ayId
It is made in China. I dont know it is a problem. If i can find better quality ones in the prices of 30-40$ (of course with freeshipping, it costs A LOT), i can change my mind.
I also searched for Wilson V14 but could not find reasonable prices for my bucket.

that's definitely a fake racket.
fake bag
also, what? VT80 medium flex? VT80 is a pretty stiff racket!
it's too cheap, the real one cost almost 6 times of that!
go for apacs..
what kind of racket do you want?
spec of the VT80 is stiff and head heavy
IMO, stiff and head heavy would be pretty hard to use for a beginner
go for something like medium and even balance
they have combo deal, 2 racket for US $60 + shipping US $13 = $73 (still in your budget)
if you want something stiff (but not necessarily head heavy)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-APACS-LETHAL-6-AND-FINAPI-88-BADMINTON-RACKET-/320737411730?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aad70 8292#ht_5203wt_1270
or you want to try one stiff and one medium:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-APACS-ED...ht_5242wt_1270
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-APACS-NANO-900-POWER-RED-AND-FINAPI-88-BADMINTON-/320738431264?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aad80 1120#ht_5243wt_1270
you can choose it from this guy:
http://myworld.ebay.com/rackets_barg...id=p4340.l2559
rule of thumb:
below 280mm = head light
below 290 = even balance
above 295 = head heavy
it is much better racket for it's price (than buying a fake racket which is unclear whether it is good or not)
even though yes, apacs copy yonex paint job, but Apacs is an establish company in the market (which makes cheap racket with good quality). they need to maintain their brand name (that is why I believe it is better than random fake racket)Last edited by Avenger; 10-10-2011 at 04:52 PM.

Thanks, that will be really helpfull. I already searched that Apacs and they are quite good for their price. But i am not sure about string's quality. I saw only racquets mostly but in http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-APACS-ED...ht_3149wt_1396 link for example... Strings looks like too fragile (other adjective maybe not good Eng
)
I dont want, racquet's string comes apart like old ones because of smashs.
I found another seller with same prices but more positive feedback.
