why must the specs on the japan site be different from the international site. makes everything so much more confusing. thanks for the reply though, i suppose it's safe to say that the seller's rackets aren't fake then.

You have to understand that different country have different people in differnt sizes, and that's why there are different grip sizes. It's something just as simple as that.

Ex: Asians have smaller hand size in average than Americans

    Robin,

That photo of the racket is too unclear to be sure. We'd need closeups. Those covers have been associated with fakes before, but there is nothing to suggest that it is nothing more than a naff cover with a genuine racket.

Look at these from the Ebay UK site:

I am not sure about that as I bought some rackets from him in August.
The transaction was fine but was a little bit slow.

I am not sure if it is still lawrence who runs the business as Timsport has many co-operators. So, it might be one of them causing the problems. We need to find out more information on this

Bottomline is, He sells genuine Yonex products.

    Default Authenticity test

Is the test that BethuneGuy's coach did a golden rule for checking the authenticity of a (high-end) Yonex racket?

    Wink

The seller doesn't even have the gut to list the model # on the auction -- just listing it as an Amortec. This is good enough to tell you whether it's a real or fake one.

Looks fake, but at a winning bid of 1.25 US, I would do it, even if it is fake, it is still a badminton racquet, and the cheapest new one you can get is like 5 US dollars, and they usually don't have cases either, or custom stringing. What confuses me is the description, an original Wilson Case with an Armortec? What is this Hammer technology on an armortec? Looks like the description was ripped off a Wilson Racquet (Hypercarbon?).

    yeah. shady tactic, imho.

lure bidders into bidding really low priced racket, then jack up the shipping cost to recover the $$.

Ahaha, read a bit more, On the second or third paragraph, it says that it comes with the orginal "wilson" carrying case.

Either the seller is a complete idiot, or he is completely honest.
