Default MP100 on ebay, seems real enough?

    http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...MakeTrack=true

The case seems to be real, not sure about the racket. Any suggestions.

And he says that 100% guarantee authentic or money back? Has anyone ever gotten their money back from a fake racket?

Yeah. In case you want a refund. Sure, you get $.99 back, and he keeps $50.

I'll have to comment on this post.

No, he is not the only one, there are some other sellers are selling genuine products. It's unfair to say all sellers on eBay are selling fakes just because there are tons of fakes on eBay, and I hope you understand this. Otherwise, I wouldn't come up with this thread to notify people to watch out for "certain" auctions.

(If eBay is that bad, I should've just rename this thread to be "don't buy rackets on eBay")

ok, i admit that i went really harsh on ebay. but if you go to ebay.com right now you can see that there are only around 10 higher-end yonex racket that surely are authentic and almost all of them are either kwong-kwong's or chockablocka's, besides that you can see 2 pages of poor quality fakes.

and one last thing, ebay has gone real bad since the first time you opened this thread and i wouldnt be surprised if sum1 come up with a thread listing the few authentic seller on ebay.

again, thats just my opinion. i apologise if i offend you or any1 else in any circumstances.

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but you can tell AT 800 rackets by a very simple way--- see if there are any "diagonal" strings.

Due to the special design of the AT800 rackets, every single string has a corresponding grommet hole in the exact place so there should not be a single string that is strung diagonally, otherwise it's 100% fake. (Unless the stringer knew nothing about how to string an AT 800)

    Let me rephrase that...

All main main strings should be at 90 degrees to the cross strings, yes, EVERY SINGLE ONE.

I think that is a good idea. Bluejeff and the community has done a great job updating this thread, but by the looks of it, ebay is now flooded with fakes. It would just be simpler to post a thread of the real sellers at this point to preserve bluejeff's sanity.

Here goes our newest weapon against the fakes

I have compiled a short list (will be updated very often) to list out all the eBay sellers who have sold (or selling) fakes. This list is in Microsoft Excel format in case you wonder.

Here are some important notes before you download the list:

-I have the evidences saved (in mht formats) inside the computer in case you have doubts on my words.

-All these materials are created by me, and all thoughts should come to me directly. BC is not involved in this and people should not trouble BC in any way.

-People who wants to bid on eBay better check this list first before bidding. However, people not on the list doesn't guarantee they are selling genuine products. Sometimes it's just hard to cover everything with limited amount of support. I will try my best on covering most sellers on the web. So, please don't blame me for it. Also, this list is for known fake sellers only. Some sellers don't sell rackets very often and it's hard to dig them out.

Err, I've seen one of those cases before (my classmate has a case like that) and I believe the case is authentic.

HOWEVER, I do have some doubts on the specs he listed out. To my knowledge, the MP 88 is a defensive racket so the flexibility definitely shouldn't be "extra stiff", secondly, the racket posted has a blue/blackish color with no traces of red on the frame.

That's not the correct color for a 3U MP 88, only the 4U ones come in that color.

    99% fake.

    -Loose plastic wrap
-Titanium mesh should cover TWO grommet holes only, not THREE
