    i respectfully disagree.

for every buyer who got cheated their money, there will be 9 more who avoided getting their money cheated because of your efforts here. we more often hear more from the unlucky ones than the lucky ones.

certainly it is not bulletproof against the fake sellers, but i believe this thread is still very valuable.

When I called Yonex Canada. They seem to really don't like to mingle with ebay. When I asked documents to prove that my rackets were fake, they asked me next time not to buy on ebay but from retailers. They told me that ebay is completely bad for their retail markets like Sports Expert and Yvon Gilbert because ebay reduces their sales and that people who would normally buy the CD version rackets are now buying SP, TH, CH, IP from ebay.

I even personally asked if I could buy the CD version rackets from them and sell on ebay but they said that they will not sell to me since they want to protect their retail market. Heheh! seems like Yonex Canada doesn't like ebay! well.. :P

I agree wholeheartedly with Kwun. In addition, thanks to BC, we can learn to spot a fake. Without BC, I believe many would be lost.

Thanks to BC and its efforts!

I agree. I bet everyone here doesn't know how to tell between a fake until they first took a glance at this thread..

Not true. I agree with BlueJeff.

Jeff I understand you have been in contact with Yonex Australia. I am not entirely satisfied with their experience or knowledge, as of contacting them once regarding an issue were I bought a racquet from one of their retailers with a region code for Belgium/Luxembourg, and they seemed confused. I had to check with Kwun.

Their website use to carry the standard Yonex chart on fake racquets, but doesn't anymore!

This is disconcerting, as I have been string in the local market fro quite a few years , and come across some fakes predominantly from Indonesia.

i sent a little e-mail to lillerk and this is the reply i got:

"can you tell me the serial number of the racquet that you are going to send if i win this item?"

No, because there are so many stock we hold in our store, so we don't know which one we will send you. If you think we sell fake, don't bid then.

all i have to say is.... OUCH.... hahahaha

I've just sent off a cheque for £58 to freedom270281 - reading your thread I am tempted to stop the cheque. What evidence have you against this seller - if I am going to stop the cheque I need to give him a good reason.

    Thanks

freedom270281 is one of the most shameless sellers so far. This person only thinks about profit and doesn't care about the authenticity of his product at all. He will keep on saying his items are real ones because they have serial numbers. That's just a bad saying anyway as we all know all fakes have serial numbers on them anyway.
Keep away from this seller as your money will be wasted.

You may as well stop the cheque THEN ask what freedom27081 did. It's better to be safe than sorry.

He sold several fakes before, including the most obvious fake NS7000 with wrong prints & fonts. He claimed his rackets are "OEM" rackets, which is never true for yonex rackets.

If you don't stop the check, you will lose your money 100%.

    Thanks bluejeff,

I have taken your advice and stopped the cheque - I also emailed freedom and told him. He has emailed back and seems quite happy to cancel the transaction - he gave no defence against being accused of selling fakes!

Im glad I found this forum - thanks again for your warnings

    Regards

    Bruce.
