Damn, I should have checked your list before I bought that fake racket. The seller's
    name is on your list!!!

You are doing a great job.

Glad you found this out and hope he honoured your refund. If I were you I would ask him what the fxxx he meant by OEM racket. OEM racket would not bear YY logo and the name Armortec as these are all patented.

Actually, I did ask him what OEM stood for, and here is his answer:

    --------

OEM version means "Original equipment manufacturer", these items development in Japan, finish in Taiwan. *So it has no identity serial number of Yonex company.
But for me, I think it is good quality enough, value to the price.

    --------

I think I read somewhere else that "OEM" is synonymous as "fake" in the context
    of online racket trading ....

That's what all fake sellers say to trick buyers. However OEM products in its real meaning does not mean fake and is fully legal to be sold in the market, unless Yonex has bought the design and manufacturing patent from the OEM. To my understanding, in the case of Yonex, OEM racket does not exist as Yonex has full patent to their products and OEM of Yonex are not allowed to use any design, names, and technology of Yonex to produce their own racket. So anyone claiming OEM racket of Yonex is basically "BS".

If the OEM rackets are indeed from Yonex's factory in Taiwan, then it will be a bigger problem than fakes because that means, those rackets were leaked out, not from a legit way out.

So, those could be considered as "stolen goods", and buying "stolen goods" is considered "illegal" in many countries. It will become a crime.

The price is too good to be true. Even say he makes huge profit within the S&H charge, still, $60 for a brand new AT700??? It's just too good to believe.

Never ever (or, 99.999999% not ) think u hit the jackpot once the price is like 75% off than it should be.

Yeah, and the racket is a fake, but the good thing is that he's refunded me.

Default Could this possibly be real? The seller says the racket is 100% authentic!

    Hi guys,

I just saw another auction of Yonex nanospeed 7000 on ebay, and the biding
price is 5.50 pounds for now, the seller claims specifically that this racket is
100% authentic and even provides close-up pictures of the serial number,
could someone please verify this? The link is at:

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....164286819&rd=1

    Please let us know.

    Thanks a lot.

The pic and serial look real to me. However, how u know he's going to sell this racket to you? I mean, s/he can simply post a pic with a real racket, and give u another (real or fake) instead.

Bid with ur own risk, unless s/he is a fairly reputable one.

The serial looks like it's being printed on. But I'm not sure.

Nah, I don't think I will bid for that one, I only make the same mistake once.
I think ebay may offer policies that protect people from selling things which
are different from what they advertise.

    Hi,

    I've spotted a fake YY seller:tigerxp83

The MP100 has an invalid date code.

Hi I am the seller for that particular NS 7000. Well I must say that the racket is genuine as I got it from a reputable seller from Thailand therefore the TH in the serial number. I have a couple of NS 7000 and 8000 from thailand and you may get different serial numbered rackets from me. I am pretty sad over the fact that geniene sellers cannot even break even on eBay when selling genuiene stuff. Anyone have an idea how genuine sellers can even make a living on eBay? I think this is why more and more people are selling counterfeit rackets.

I think this post by LazyBuddy is a serious "attack" on my personal intergity and I would like a apology for it.

Furthermore you did not comply with the rules of posting in the forum

There's no way LazyB could know you were selling genuine stuff rigth? And you said it yourself, more and more sellers are offering fakes.

There are a few sellers known for seller genuine Yonex and since you're kinda new, we/he didn't know you yet. So take it easy I'd say.
