uneven; the paint job sucks; the grommets are not individually made; the
notch at the top of the racket head is not not present and the control
support cap is cylindrical, not flat as the genuine one. futhermore, at
first glance, the serial number looks very original, but if you examine it
closely, the "4", the "0" and the "P" would give it away instantly. if you
flex the racket, its no where as stiff as the real one. the only thing that
really impressed was the string (it was the only original thing you can
    see!)."

And the main thing that the serial numbers are wrong. So i think we can conclude tigerxp83 is a fake ebay seller. I wish I had known that before.
I browsed the web site by tigerxp83 on 2 items of Yonex rackets for bidding:

    Nanospeed 7000 serial no.:5692617; date code:290452SP
Ti10 Titanium Mesh Long serial no.:5693537; date code:290442SP
Interesting to note that Ti10 with the higher serial no. is having the date code on 2004 whereas Nanospeed 7000 is dated on 2005.
BTW the Nanospeed 7000 with serial no. of 5692617 290452SP was also reported by yipeuge from eBayer qqstar2005:

Default confirmation of date codes and serial numbers

hi there I have confirmation that on the same date there can be more than one model racket being produced ie same model number, and same date code but different batch number and this is what I have on ebay. The top and bottom serial date is the same only the batch code is different.

he might have 2 accounts and he is bidding on his own items to drive the price up himself.

I will have to put a question mark on this seller because in his another auction:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...sPageName=WDVW
for every 100 grips purchased, a free badminton racket will be given. model ranges from Yonex Muscle power series , Yonex Armortec Series and Yonex Nanospeed series.

As far as I know, Yonex never release grips in that form and I have seen lots of China-made fake grips like that online. The tape is paper-based and the width of the grips is not consistent. So, this might be another case of using "real racket pictures, but ship fake rackets".

Buy 100 grips and get free MP, AT, or NS racket? that's too good to be true.

Lol. Indeed it is too good to be true. Let's just label him fake. If he's selling one item that's fake, most likely all his other items are fake too. Plus, most of the time, fake sellers say "100% authentic" lol.

    Post Newplayer...

.. I have heard of Tekeong on Ebay, as i have just bought a nanospeed 7000 from him/her on ebay. It is of course 100% fake (i was not on the forums here when i bought it!!!) His feedback is 100% so i did not think it would be fake, his other customers just obviously dont know how to recognise a fake racket when they see one!!! His shipping was £29 which i thought was a lot, and i dont really see the point of trying to get a refund. Lets just say, i learnt the hard way! But all the advice on here is great!

    Important announcement:

My ebay account has been blocked. Not sure of the real reason and two of rackets in the picture are left in stock. If anyone wants to make a purchase, please reply this message and we talk.

    Another Issue

My grip feedbacks are 100% positive, every single user thinks they are nice and wants to order grips from me again. I only want to hear form my customers and the users, please. Never mind, if you didn’t get that great deal, and I only have two rackets left now, no more grips.
