Here is a perfect example of a questionable item:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MakeTrack=true

From the look of the seller feedback, you might think this seller is reliable. However, as I said, previous feedback has nothing to do with future. This racket appears to be loose wrap, and we all know what that means.

Nevertheless, I wouldn't call this a fake yet due to the fuzzy picture, but if I were the buyer, I will NOT buy from this seller as there is no protection and the seller doesn't seem to be knowledgeable on badminton items.

How do I know that? I pre-ordered the racket and I got the first batch JP rackets

Anyone have previously dealt with TT sport (tum98)?

    i'm currently shopping for a 4U armortec 800 DF
and u know they don't sell 4U here in Toronto
Then i find this and i wanna know if this guy is to be trusted

    http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

emailed him and replied within 1 day and he said its a TH distribution code one
which for a fact TH does have 4U version of armortec 800
He sounded rather convincing and i figure its best to get a 2nd opinon on this
before i hit the bid button and see if someone has a bad remark on this seller.

    Thx a million

Default Issues with ebay seller - lilierk

    Hi

Just wanted to let you know that ebay_id: lilierk (Name : Wong Wong) who has been recommended in this forum many times has cheated me of 135 USD on Yonex Armortec 800 DF and I have filed a case with Paypal for a refund. He never shipped the racquet nor would give me a refund.

And by the way he/she is "Not a registered User" in ebay anymore. I never received the racquet after sending payment and "lilierk" would NOT reply to any of my emails and would NOT refund the money either.

I am hoping that Paypal would do something to get me a refund.

Just wanted everybody in the forum to know about this user and my transaction and be watchful !!

If you are not familiar with genuine/fake Yonex items, I would strongly suggest you to check out my list before bidding on ebay.

    http://www.badmintonrepublic.com/fake/index.html

This list guarantees whoever that is on, sells/sold fake Yonex products; This list does NOT guarantee anyone sells/sold genuine yonex products.

in the case of lilierk, i complained to paypal and got the refund back

few days ago her friend had contacted me that lili went to hospital and could not handle the business and contacts

whether you buy this story or not, thats what i have heard from the guy, at least he got hold of my email and know that paypal had refunded the racket cost, and promised(maybe i shouldn't use this word) to refund the shipping also

Hydro: thanks for the update. I hope it's true that Lilierk is temporarily out of commission and will get well and fulfill all pending orders.

    Default Possibly fake AT800

Ah crap, I just bought what I think is a fake Armortec 800 from eBay here. I just came across Bluejeff's website on the list of eBay sellers that sell fake Yonex merchandise and this seller 'tohktohk' is listed. Damn!! I should've seen this list before paying. I haven't received the racquet yet though, I paid through paypal, is there anyway to get my money back? Thanks.
