Difficult to say which is the best, especially when the rackets in question are not the popular ones.. :p

For intermediate level singles, considering your even balance preference, I'd say you can consider YY Arc 7. YY Voltic 7 meets your light-weight criteria, although it has a bit head-heavy balance. Adidas Adipower Tour/Pro could be a good choice too.

I can't comment on the Carltons, sorry.

However, you can narrow down the selection process if you evaluate what you want and don't want out of your current racket.

The carltons u mentioned are kind of flexy compared to most Yonexes ( I am not sure abt nanoray80). Also u are playing w/ plastic shuttlecocks which I am not familiar what kind of rackets that will suit them. If it is available, get a Arcsaber Tour 2. It is a GOLDEN value for anything under US$80 from Yonex. Awesome power, good quality (made in Japan) and best part very manouverable.

i've gotten no feel out of AS002. it's just a very model basic in that series and offers no added advantage for a good player, imo.
