I see that you still have the plastic on the handle. Can you take a picture of it? As far as I know, the BS12 was never made in Taiwan. That endcap is for models made in Taiwan. The label in the plastic should indicate China made.

On the one I had, the paint job is just not right, very "rough", to translate from Mandarin. When my second BS12 arrived from Badminton Avenue Dot Com, the contrast between the 2 pieces is huge.

If you zoom in on the first pic, the word tension is a bit distorted too. I find that weird lol

Yes, the devil is in the details. If you observe closely and carefully, there will be a lot of "not right" ....

I accidentally tap the string bed using me knee and hear the vibrating sound of the racquet, around the handle area, it just sounds loose .... I don't know how to explain it. Maybe OP can use another racquet to compare.

The one I got from Badminton Avenue is genuine. I was comparing to the first fake one I got off ebay. Sorry, was a bit unclear in my previous post ...

In the 1st photo ,it seems that the words "tension......" was printed on the plastic coverd around the grip, but the font is right. Numbers in the 2nd photo obviously the type of victor .As i know ,most high end racket of victor such as bs09 bs11 bs10 bs12(blue) ware made in TW in the early days(now MADE IN CHINA),conbine with the unperfect quilty factor of victor ,i m afraid the racket is correct~~

Sorry to say the racket might be a fake.
Here are the small signs noted :

~ wordings are badly align and not clear
~ butt cap for China and Taiwan made is different.
~ China ones (eg. BS LYD, MX JJS) had matte rough plastic finishing and without "Taiwan" word.
~ Taiwan ones (eg. MX60, MX80, MX90) has shiny plastic finishing plus "Taiwan" word.
~ Never is there a matte rough plastic with "Taiwan" wording.

    Here's a comparison example between MX-JJS & MX90
