First of all I must greet and nod to all the great stringers, either here or outside this forum. You've around and shared with your knowledges.I come here to pick up lost memories ,fractions, too.I'd like to start this thread by sharing some of my photos and experience. *I'm not worried about tension loss for two reasons. One is that badminton strings are strong than ever before and are affordable. One is that I stretch the last bit before I make knots;I pull the last bit with my hands as well.I'll try to figure out the youtube things soon and share a short video with you. *For tensions below twenty pounds,I usually do half hitch knot for all.For either starting knots and finishing knots.
*Form twenty one pounds to twenty eight pounds.I use a starting knot(金苗結). I use double half hitch knots to finish the jobs. *I rarely do tensions over twenty eight,I will experiment and come back to share?
There are some common knots that both combat engineers and boy scouts use a lot. All the knots share one characteristic, the harder you pull the strings the ropes, the tighter the knots they will go and the knots are all easy to detach.
I like Kwun/AKs knot, think it was based on the wilson pro knot with a twist, then locked off with a half hitch. Whoever made it i salute them, it's a damn fine knot.

What's better than someone showing you how to do a Parnell knot on YouTube? Richard Parnell showing you how to do a Parnell knot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj8ITKjnfHc
The Parnell knot is what I would also recommend. Nice, easy, and pleasing to the eye when you have the knot tail sitting on the frame instead of sticking up or even sucked in like in OP's post.
Sorry if I offended you OP. We're all just here to learn and improve our stringing technique. It's a little bit late, but here's my Parnell knot: I apologize for the blurry pictures as it is taken with my phone camera.
