Anyone can recommend a racket which costs less than RM 100 (about 30 USD)? I want to buy it for my cousin's 14th birthday. The criteria are as follows:- 1) Intermediate to advanced skills, more on attacking (smashes, drives). 2) He prefers balanced and medium-stiff to stiff rackets. Your suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
at that price of range, there are not many choices. go to your local seller and check it by yourselves. check brand like apacs and avoid big brands as they tend to be more expensive
forgot to say, but really, you might need to increase your budget a little bit then IMO, buy a second hand racket, try to find the one without chips. if it is Yonex, try to post their cone code and shaft serial before buying it (since there are many fake yonex rackets..)
I agree.. I think $70USD would be a great price for a budget for a low end racquet. Well $70 USD for a new yonex low end, maybe like $50USD, I got my armortec midend second hand no chips for $45 I'm sure you can find one at local classifieds.
Hard to get a good Racket in that low price range. Maybe you get a Voltric 3 for that price. I would recomend to add a bit and get a Voltric 5. I´ve made great experience in my club with the group of that age.
Even Apacs don't have racket which lower than RM 100... but Protech will have... most of the Protech racket is around RM 80 ~ RM 100 which also meets your need...
from the US market it will be hard to even find a lowend yonex racket unless you're looking at a steel racket or maybe all aluminum racket. an arc002 or a voltric 3 will run you around $70-$80USD, at least from what i can see here in California. you could wait till there's a clearance from badminton alley but i am not sure if they ship internationally. they had a prokennex 815 for $40 and a couple of black knight carbon rackets for under $50. i think currently they have a carlton on clearance for $35. no i don't own badminton alley and i don't work for them. i only check out their clearance stuff since it's low enough to compete with the pricing in asia but i will probably not buy a high end racket from them since i can get it cheaper from HK and way cheaper in Taiwan
Hi, I have 1 Hart racket, like new. I cannot remember the model, but it is around what u are looking.
