Hi all, new to this forum. I today purchased a Yonex racket from Sports Direct in the UK, the model is a "Yonex Nanoray Delta B/Rkt 409" in Blue/White. I have since saw on the internet that Yonex do not produce any rackets in China. This racket has printed on the side of the shaft "made in China". This has somewhat concerned me. Is it true that Yonex do not make rackets in China? I can provide other details if needed.
Ah, so i was given bad information. My mind is at ease now, i wasn't too concerned since i'm only new to the sport and i doubt it would make much difference at all but i thought i'd at least check. Thanks.
Yonex high end rackets are made in Japan. Yonex mid end rackets are made in Taiwan. Yonex low end rackets are made in China.
i am guessing that's because fewer people buy and see the entry level Yonex rackets. in fact, i'd think from where i am, 90% of the Yonex i see are Japan made highend ones.
