    AarOn,

Believe me, your question has been asked numerous times... this forum has been around for quite awhile. Take your time to search and read up on relevant threads before resorting to posting. It saves lots of time;).

I never thought new threads of this topic would ever resurface again, and I was dead wrong.

As a member, you can do a SEARCH. Knowing that most people won't bother to sift through thousands of threads (many of which discuss the same old thing), thus the search function was created.

Kwun, cheung, mag, perhaps you can add a topic called 'Identifying Fakes' in the Equipment FAQ.

    Thanks.

I would also agree with wilfredlgf. Most likely have it as a sticky.

I believe some of the Ebay threads had a side by side comparison of a fake and real MP99 right next to each other. Having that in the FAQ would be very useful.

I think I might be able to make a little web page to describe the 11 points of fake rackets since I have one here :)

(However, I am too busy this week, so you guys have to wait ...)

u can always check the serial #...to see if it's engraved or not. Fake rackets have painted serial #s. But hey, i have a fake 99, and for some reason i think it was better than my real one  :D

Don't worry. I make the same kind of mistake in the past as well. So did most of the other members here, anyway. :)
