I've been really impressed by Suo Di, a young up and coming player. She previously won a World JR Championship in singles and she started to get more international circuit exposure in 2013.

She won the Indonesian Open GP in 2013 and almost beat Sung Jihyun at China Open.

I actually think she looks a lot like Zhang Ning.

Other times she kinda looks like Wang Yihan.

What do you all think about her? I really hope to see more from her.

it was asian junior in 2010. but not sure about her official age as she dare not participate in youth olympic games in 2010(which provide scientific test to player age.)

Instead of Wang Yihan, she looks more like Pi Hongyan of France.

Anybody know what's the deal with Suo Di? I'm pretty sure she was in the recent CBA training camp.

But she hasn't played any tournaments for months and isn't registered for any upcoming tournaments.

Sou Di carries some serious injuries (not sure about the specifics). She is a tough girl. She plays with injuries and still gets good results. But on a Chinese team that is full with talents, until she fully recovers from her injuries, she will not have much opportunities.
