Perhaps what Paul says might have some truth to it. I'm not sure how many of the stringers are able to tie at a high tension and doesn't break the racket. For most, the tension tied at 24-25lbs at the most.

And mogensen doesn't broke his fb like how many of the badminton lovers who own it.

Nonetheless, there's a chance that there is error in the info coz it's not admitted by yonex itself.

It what Paul claimed is true. Oh boy, it really gives a very bad impression to all Yonex fans out there. They literally trying to con you to buy their rackets, to keep their business going.

Nice close up man! Unfortunately I don't own a FB, I can't tell whether it's a ZF. Any FB + ZF user out there who could comment on these pictures?

I can't tell. I'm going to track pictures from last years All Englands. I'll also be talking to the stringers at this years all Englands and see if I can take a closer look.

VTZF has one less cross at the lower end of the head but one more on the upper end.

I ve own both before. The Zforce as well as the flashboost. by referring the picture yea i would say its indeed a flashboost. Its because the zforce has a narrower on top of the frame while the flashboost is a bit bigger. there is a lot of discussion going on about the fragile frame of flashboost and repainted zforce. somehow i strung those FBs at 30lbs and went for 3 sessions at 2 hours each before the string snap (nanogy 98). though it feel fragile. but i believe that the frame could withstand it

i was very surprised why they didnt paint LCW's ZF into a ZF2 or a FB, or a NR ZSP..... since there were claims that yonex painted a ZF into an FB for a doubles player

Just stating the obvious here: he whole discussion centers around these two options:
1-Carsten is using a real, 73grams, fragile as heck arcsaber FB
2-Cartsen is using a Voltric ZF, that has been 'repainted' to look like an FB.
Now, you can only distinguish these form the frame-shape, however, what if:
3-Yonex has made a special batch of 89gram, stiff, headheavy, Voltric-like Arcsaber FB's.

After all, making a racket is a combination of a mold, and material that is used. Using voltric materials in a FB mold would make it impossible to distinguish from a photo alone...
