    Waiting for that too.
    It's already 'tomorrow' in Asia.
However, the pre-order button is still dead.

I guess even web-stores aren't immune to the Chinese New Year shutdown

I suspect the ZF2 will be much closer to the ZF than the ZSpeed...

Makes sense, otherwise Yonex would have called it the ZSpeed 2...

Just saying :P People are saying it's just a repainted Z Speed and stuff and trying to compare it with the Z Speed. Comparing it to the original ZF seems more pertinent imo!

^ LOL, yeah! I've played a session with a Z-Speed and it's so damn fast and, uh, unpredictable my timing is in a different time-zone altogether! Adjusting to it's quirks (can't think of a more suitable description ) is a long-term commitment I just don't have the time for. OTOH, adjusting to the VT-ZF was not much of an issue. The timing took a little working on, admittedly, (and the stiffness) but once it's tamed, it's a joy to play with.

After studying the specs of the ZF2 once more, I still feel the ZF2 may turn out to be easier to handle than the original ZF ("easier" is a comparative word!) with power more easily available as well. And with all that newfangled "technology" and tweaks to it's frame shape, I'd be very interested to see if control has improved over the ZF! (...not that it was bad to begin with!) Time will tell if I'm wrong...

^ The timing problem you're experiencing with it is due to its flexy shaft relative to its head heaviness. Similarly the Z Slash. Add to that a smaller sweet spot and it's no wonder that both are hard to adjust to.

For Singapore, they have announced a price of SGD 300.
    Um, that is steep!

Ya think? I find the stiffness of the Z-Speed a pretty good match to it's head-heaviness. It's only a 300mm BP racket which is pretty average these days.

The timing issues come from the fact that the sweetspost is much closer to the top of the frame than other rackets, so it kind of forces you to take the shuttle earlier with makes for a learning curve. This is exacerbated by the head that flexes at 3/9 o'clock, of course.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ZFII has the same or similar head shape to the ZSP. I don't think the ZSP works as a cohesive design, but the headshape they've come up with for it is brilliant.

Really like the look of this racket and wouldn't mind adding it to my slowly growing collection of rackets but sadly my sister leaves hong kong a few days before it gets released :banghead: since its always cheaper to buy from hk than UK

It took me quite a while to get the best out of my N90III rackets and now this. ZF was a tad too slow for doubles, so if this version is a tad more aerodynamic I give it a shot... because it looks like a TRON racket and the kid inside of me is gonna be like *______*

Basically there is no point in changing rackets. It's a tad faster? A tad more powerful? Yeah, really? Just go to the gym. Eat cleaner and train dirtier and u'll be faster and hit harder with your old racket than with a new racket.

just skip the forest and skip the topless LCW and go directly to the racket.
