If they have tungsten in them they would. Unless it works just as well with regular plastic grommets.

Should I get another zforce? Or just get zforce ii? I was told the 4u is running out of stock and only 3u will be available. I kinda suffer with 3u in doubles, instead 4u works perfectly fine for me.

I would stock up on the Z-Force 4U if possible and then try out the Z-Force 2 to see if you like it. I'll need to try and do the same thing

Then get the Z-Force 2. You already know and like the Z-Force, why not try something new but similar?

You know......I like LCW, but he's not the most media savvy guy in the sports world. "I think this is a good racket"? Hrm. Yeah I'm not a fan of the 'shirt off' idea either. He's one fit bastard for sure, but he's not a séx symbol. Not in the slightest. Sorry Dato.

The play on the 'tiger stalking in the forest' is a great idea, but they should've gone more heavily with that rather than the bullsh!t flashes and lightning and crap that seems to be typical in Japanese sports advertising campaigns.

As for the racket, I think it looks good, and concealed strings on the outer part of the frame is a good idea. It also makes it easier to control weight distribution, too. If I was Yonex I'd sell a raft of different grommets in different specs so people can customise, but I doubt they'll do this.

And again - because I just know this will keep popping up - you can't put foil stickers under a matte clearcoat. So if you like the combination of shiny and matte you'll just have to deal with it. Sorry stringers.

You know, if the head shape is the same as the Z-Speed minus the flex points, and is more like a VT-80 in feel, this could be a very, very good racket. Let's see how it pans out.....

Its probably going to be another typical Yonex launch.

LCW will probably use it for the Yonex All England and then it becomes popular because everyone is wondering what this new racket is like. Just like the Voltric 80.

Its annoying since they have released the racket pretty early and I'm REALLY looking forward to trying this racket out but I also have to wait and see what their Limited Edition VTZF would be like haha

I'm guessing it will be yellow. heh.

Seriously though, I'd be surprised if they bring out yet another ZF Ltd. Maybe when LCW retires perhaps?

The new continuous grommets are placed at the 10-11, 1-2, 4-5, 7-8 o'clock positions. From my personal experience, the common plastic grommets here wear out quickly due to the number of shared holes and requires regular replacement. IMHO it would be a simple to maintain racquet for fussy stringers, like yours truly, especially if the new grommets last.

On another hand the frame reminds me of the old Muscle Power 100..

Yonex's standard is 665 mm, and 10mm longer means the length is 675mm

    Look at what I found.

Compared to the racquet-special grommet packs at MyBadminstore, these don't seem as expensive as feared to me.
