    I don't think so. Mind wasn't wood but the same PU stuff you find in your grips..

    Thank you. When i ask one of the older badminton players at my gym he told me that it was to prevent the sharpness of the string from damaging the grommets and the racket head. To me that kinda make sense, especially with thin strings such as the Nanogy 98 I’m using….

    grommets are easily replaced on "traditional" rackets, not sure how much it would cost or how it easy would it be to do a zforce II though..

    I use vtz ltd most of the time and only use fb when I feel tired or mostly use fb for double. Im going to try this vtz2 wednesday.

    Well the bottom and sides of the VTF II is covered by the new Tungsten infused grommet thing anyway so I guess the top is the only place it can be placed.
