I'm interviewing with a company out in Pittsburgh and I'm curious what the badminton scene is like. A quick search through the BC forums lists only a couple old (circa 2005) threads so I'm not sure if the information is current. Having spent the last 3.5 years in Korea, I'm used to playing often and against people much better than myself hehe (kind of a low bar) I'm guessing the Pittsburgh scene isn't super hot, but mixing and matching gyms will I be able to play often? The company works right downtown (strip district) so I'm guessing a well-placed apartment would let me get to a variety of gyms? Thanks in advance for any info.
eons ago, the places to play are: UPitt Carnegie Mellon University and there is this club out at Monroeville anuchopra should still be working there. he is a very good player. strip district is close to Pitt and CMU (biking distance) while Monroeville will require a car.
