Lim / Goh is good! Goh seems to be better. solid in both attack and defense.

Li Xuerui is in either poor form or slow starter. looks like amateur against Yao Xue.

Now showing LXR vs Yao Xue http://zky.tv/streaminglive/1/723656...es-2014-2.html , matching each other blow for blow so far. 11-10 to LXR at the moment...

LXR started slow, not fully settled in yet as no one pushed her throughout the tournament so far. G1, 21-17 to LXR.

Both LXR and YX have similar attacking style but YX got to improve on her defense, and both seem to share the same weakness, proneness to errors.

When Yao Xue's defense is as good as her offence and improves on her accuracy, cuts down on her simple errors, she will be a force to be reckoned with.

A runaway victory for LXR in G2 to take the match, 21-7. To the final she goes.

she has height, speed and power. but seems to be relying too much on her backhand, and yes, bad defense.

i am suspecting 2nd game was fixed.

That's exactly what happened to her last year in the final here with Tai TY. At the last INA GPG she improved on her simple errors but lost the final to her compatriot Suo Di who probably knew her strengths and weaknesses and exploited it - I was then more impressed with Yao Xue and thought she would win the final.

More work for Yao Xue to do to raise her game. To me her feat in this MAS SSP beating Saina(who came to this year-opening tournament fresh and prepared) and WYH is no less impressive than Akane Y beating Intanon R.
