    Hello!

I'm curious to know if string tension affects the weight of a racket.

I honestly believe there wouldn't be much of a difference if you mean higher tension equals more stretch and less string in the racket, resulting in less string weight?

I meant the actual weight of the racket, but I didn't consider the fact that a string with high tension has less string weight.

    Thank you mater!

string is string, and racket weight is racket weight, they are separate items. i can put 0lbs or 40lbs on the string and the racket itself will still weigh the same.

    am i missing something?

No, now I understand the differences. I just thought that if I string my racket at a lower tension then the swing would be lighter.

String tension doesn't affect swing wt. But string thickness will...

Can you tell the difference of different strings by swinging the racket?
    I would doubt that...
