ok. you guys got me excited about the t-shirt. i have a few pre-order things that need to work out.

firstly. i need to know how many and what sizes to order. i am planning to order Hanes Beefy-T t-shirts. the sizing is as follows:

    S(34-36), M(38-40), L(42-44), XL(46-48), 2XL(50-52)

note that these are american sizes so use the inches as the reference.

if you are interested, send me a PM with what you plan to order, both sizes and quantity for each size. then i will compile all the data on a spreadsheet so i have an idea how many to order.

the price target is $10 per shirt which i think is no problem. shipping shouldn't be too much within the US ($2-3), but expect up to $5 for outside the US. you can do your own calculation on the US Postal Service website:

    http://ircalc.usps.gov/weight.asp?Contents=0

the more you order. the lower the average shipping cost. so if you have BC friends in your area then you can perhaps share the postage. potentially a big group of BF'ers can do a bulk mail that should save up quite a bit.

but right now, you need to tell me if you plan to order and what sizes and quantity.

    thanks!

~woohoo~!!! So the ball is... opps... I mean, the birdie is finally flying! Let's get the order in before the batch is gone!

Is BMS still gonna take care of the order for all the Vancouver BF-ers? Or should I send my shirt request to kwun instead?

well, if all the Vancouverians wants to do one bulk order, that will make the packaging and shipping much easier. if BMS is the contact person, then he can collect all the orders and send them to me. but let's see how much demand there is first.

No problemo! :) I totally agree w/ Kwun!

It should decrease our t-shirt cost by minimizing shipping costs (& paperwork for Kwun)!

Any BF Hongcover-ites (sorry Hong Kong) wants to order through me, please PM me with

(after receiving the artwork, I will be making the Clone-T's, the "UN-official" version)

    1) (real) Name & BF alias
    2) Phone number
    3) Size(s) of Offical T-shirt
    4) Quantity of Official T-shirts (per size)
    5) Size(s) of Clone-T-shirt
    6) Quantity of Clone-T-shirts (per size)

    Cheers! :D

Hey, the price is very attractive. I was thinking about $15-20 per shirt. Can kwun put a sample pic, therefore, it might help me to make my decision.

If the "look" is really good, i might get quite a few for close friends (including females, to them, the "look" is the must. :D).

Now, need to "stalking" around, and ask for everyone's size. hehehehheh... :D

Oh, I forgot to ask, do Hanes shirts shrink a lot after you wash them?
About the size chart, I think people can refers to some US clothes web sites, such as bananarepublic.com (click on any T-shirts and there is a size chart at the right hand side)

i personally think $15+ a t-shirt is pretty outrageous. and also remember that for many countries, $10 a t-shirt may be expensive. so i think $10 is a good price point.

and hey, US$ is at an all time low. so it will be more affordable for overseas buyers. :) i have been told that in UK, t-shirts usually go for around 10 pounds, that's US$18 !

as for Hanes. i went through all my t-shirts and looked at what brand and model they are. the best ones are the Hanes beefy-t. this is the top model from Hanes i believe. they are supposed to be pre-shrunk and mine did not shrink a bit.

i guess we can save a little bit from using cheaper shirts, but i believe quality also counts.. :)

i will post the design that was chosen. i don't have a real sample with me as i won't get one until i get the order submitted. but i cannot get the orders unless i know the amount to order. but you guys wants to see the sample before i put in the order. as a result, i am stuck in a circle.

so i can only post the original design from wirey, and you guys just have to trust me on it.... ;)

btw, please let me know soon if you plan to buy so i have an rough idea how many to order. so far, i only got replies from 4 member. you are not oblige to order, this is only a survey on how many i potentially need and what sizes to order.

for those in Vancouver, you should let me know too so there won't be any shortage for you. you can later on order via BMS, but i need to know the numbers now.

ok. so far, i have received interests for around 60 shirts after one day.

gauging from that, i have ordered 200 from the vendor. they should arrive in around 2-3 weeks. if 200 is not enough, i can order more. meanwhile, i need to figure out a way to put them on sale, some shopping cart or something like that.
