Having recently picked up a JJS and been a long time MX80 user I was expecting something with an equally fast and agile swing as the MX80 (Both are 3U G3).

After using the JJS for some weeks now it still feels slower and less agile than the MX80, as they are both based on the octoblade 80 hole design from Victor I expected them to be a lot closer in feel and playability then they are.

Does anyone have or has played with both have similar experiences when comparing these two?

I've felt the same but I didn't mind it at all. The trade off was easier accessible power due to the softer shaft and heavier head.

Mx80 is definitely stiffer than JJS.

Yup same feeling as well. There's tis kinda lag feeling if compared to MX80.
But once you've got used to it MX-JJS felt pretty good.

Have you compared the weight of the two rackets? A 3 gram difference generally gives a noticeable speed difference for me. Throw in the fact that Victor has pretty poor weight QA, the weight difference can be more than the 5 gram range of 1U.

Hi bro : If you want something swing speed faster consider BS 9 or MX 90.
