Curious about this type of string....

    hello.. i was wondering if anyone have seen this before... . Where people have about 2 black lines across the racket usually at the bottom part of teh racket string.. May i know what is that and what effect does it do?? i have been seein it about 3 to 4 times but have no idea what is it for? style? a broken string and pieced back by diff string? painted? thx if anyone knows.

    Actually they skipped the 2 strings. It is not a logo or anything.. reason of doing that is to have extra bounce on the strings. Sometimes the stringer can skip one string.

    Hmm I have seen that 2 but I'm 100% sure they werent skipping the lines, thats another thing.

    They just colored 2 of their lines in the bottom in black, I dont really know whats that for. I suppose its a logo or something??

    It IS the Babolat logo, not a special stringing technique. If in doubt, take a look at my racquet photo in "Your racquet pics".

    Saw the pic.. yeah its a logo. Never really take notice at babolat's logo. :D

    Yeah, it is the logo for Babolat.

    You can check their pics on www.babolat.com They have clear pics for Satelite seiers, and each one have the logo right there.
