as we had it last year (see: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/123060-National-Championships-2013), it would be also nice to have it this year: this weekend many national championships of european countries are played. i already found many draws on tournamentsoftware, but currently i dont have the time to post the links here. i will do it tomorrow! if someone of you has time, please go ahead and post the links in germany #1 seed richard domke already lost in the second round

I don't think that link is for the Polish nationals. Last year, there were the expected 5 categories but the Grand Prix link you have there shows 20 events.
Biggest surprise for me was 15 year old Yvonne Li getting to the semis of the German Nationals losing in two tight games to later champion Karin Schnaase. I was really impressed with her accuracy and her offensive game style.
Must admit I've not heard of either player. Aside from Schenk (now retired?), Zwiebler, Fuchs/ Schoettler and Fuchs/ Michels I don't know much about Deutsch badminton. For Eng nationals it's hard to see past MS: Ouseph > Baxter (or maybe one of the young guys this year) MD: Adcock/ Ellis > Mills/ Langridge XD: Adcock/ Adcock > Langridge/ Olver WD: Adcock/ Smith > Olver/ Robertshaw WS: No idea Anyone know when the Denmark Nationals are?
Welsh Nationals http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/winners.aspx?id=F4D71AD0-5B14-415F-87B1-E5ADFF769F43 Daniel Font winner of all three events last time a guy won all 3 was 35 years ago.
WS: Walker vs.Riou for MS, Toby Penty and Sam Phillips are likely to be amongst the younger challengers.

Raj is through.... just. As I suspected it was extremely close. Ben had 2 match points in the second game. Think he's only the second player in the last 6 years to take a game off Raj. Quite a way to announce yourself back to the big time after 18 months away from the international scene. And to think I was playing him in a 'Silver' grade tournament only 6 months ago
