I am new to stringing and have attempted to string my racket three or four times now. The first set if verts (centre to b8 tie off) is fine but when I do the other side my string keeps snapping. I thought at first too high tension so went down happened again. It's bit one particular bad grommet as it's happened in different places. Any ideas or tips that may help me would be much appreciated

If it's a crank machine, check the calibration

    Hi
What machine do you have? are the machine parts and clamps perfectly plain to avoid damaging the string? even something of size of a sand grain is fatal.
Did you try to string other rackets than yours? your grommets may be damaged.
Many factors may be the cause and more data is needed.
