    Hi,

My first post here so if I'm asking stupid things please don't shoot me :)

I'm looking for a new racket. I have allready read a bit here on the forum but need some help.

    So the things that matter:
    1. Level: intermediate
    2. Double game
    3. Not that much wrist straight
    4. My co-player is the smasher

    Things I don't know:
    5. Flex or Stiff ?
    6. Head light or balanced ?
    7. Shape ?

The brands I can easily buy here are:
    1. Carlton
    2. Victor
    3. Yonex
    4. Li-ning
    5. Babolat

Are there any models that are very popular for my needs?

    Thx for the help.

    Roberto

yonex nanoray is quick for doubles, some of the voltrics might be useful as well in 4u weight.

Go for a nanoray 20, excels in every category, driving, smashing, net shots, drops etc. One of the racquets I've used until my wrist got stronger. Head shape is preference for me it doesn't matter , but the racquet is isometric.

    Thx for the replies.

What do you think about the:
    1. Carlton Vapour Tour
    2. Carlton Vapour S-lite

Because can get these for a very nice price brand new.

I use the Vapour Trail Tour. Excellent racket for doubles play. Balance even (balance point at about 295mm), medium flex, good allrounder.

i somehow find my nr20 a bit "clumsy" playing doubles, maybe i just prefer something with a smaller head frame like that of a zslash or arc11.

It's my choice for doubles as well. As it is an older model you can get it for a reasonable price indeed. And it looks awesome :)
