    Default Help on Voltric 70

I need some help on choosing the string and string tension for my voltric 70. I play doubles and am good at the back court. I play with plastics since that's what we use in high school tournaments. I can get any string as well so please give me your all your opinions (:

BG80 (for hard feeling) ZM65 or BG80P (for medium feel). For plastics use around 22 lbs (unless you hit really hard, use 24), stringing higher for plastics doesn't make as a profound a difference than stringing high for feathers, the feel is lost on the plastic anyways.

    Hello.. I have 2 Voltric 70..
    1) BG66 Ultimax string tension 26lbs for control - Less tiring
    2) Nanogy 98 string tension 25 lbs for smash & repulsion power - use for my 1st & 2nd game only.

But I'm assuming you use feathers for such high tension.

Yes.. I think in Asia especially Malaysia used feather rather than plastic.

VS850 or PG65 for plastic. Great power.

If you compare VT70 to the older Yonex higher end models, you'll see that VT 70 actually has a slightly thinner frame. So, don't go too high with the tension. I have had cracks on my VT 70s between 10 and 11 o'clock and 1 and 2 o'clock on different rackets.

Not sure if newer models from Yonex are built with thinner frames (haven't ventured out to the new ones for a long while now) but VT 70 is definitely a fragile one. Perhaps I'm going a little too high at 30 and 32 lbs. But that's the tension on most of my Yonex - NS9900, AT900.
