currently forced to use 65Ti due to lack of stock of 65. I bought myself some 65 string purple and royal blue and will switch to these when my current strings begin to fail, which might take a year or so...heh...i don't hit too hard all the time i suppose
BG-65 for durability, the rest don't seem to be too beneficial and their cost adds up after a monthly restring.
Hehe Cooler thought you might come up with that one. BG85 for me. Had high hopes for Ti-strings but they disappointed me everytime.

JChen99 Gosen Roots B505 is about equivalent to the Yonex BG-80. I've used use BG-80 but it kept breaking very often. Gary of Tads asked me to try out the Gosen B505 since he said they are about the same and B505 lasts a lot longer so I gave it a try. After playing with it, it was really good since you can feel a bit more and the strings made more of a pop sound since the string uses synthetic gut. The roots does stretch a bit more than BG-80 when breaking them in so I say about 3/4 pound to 1 pound higher than what you would do on your BG-80. Very good thing about the B505 over time is that it doesn't develop kints and nics like the BG-80 where the string breaks at the nics later on while the roots just last until they finally break (no indication). Hope this helps. -- I never tried the newer Roots like the Bio and others which were released so I cannot make a comparison with them. I probably would try it I guess when I get a new racket. I wonder if B505 is still available too since I don't see it listen on the Gosen website.
