Need a stiffer racket than vtzf because my hard hit. My past is in baseball and tennis. I do need head heavy and probably lot of it. I have been broken seven rackets in 30 days which was the reason I bought vtzf and strung it 29 pounds. Next I go with 33 pounds until I find a stiffer racket. It feels like vtzf momentum working against the stiffnes of the racket which makes the racket flex too much, which in turn loosing power in my smashes. The momentum "speed" and feeling of vtzf in game such as controlling the defense makes you to easy take control of opponent. My only issue is in smashes. What do you recomend for racket? Li-ning n90? Best regards Poppe
You're probably not going to find a racket more head heavy than the VTZF that's available right now. In badminton standards, it's very end loaded. Like you stated before though, the head heaviness makes it feel more flexible than the stiffness would suggest. You could get either a less head heavy racket of the same stiffness, stiffer racket of the same balance, or a less head heavy and stiffer racket if you want something stiffer than the VTZF. Like Visor suggested, I'd say the Victor MX80 is one of those few rackets that are stiffer than the VTZF that still provides good power if you can handle it.
No I cant use a racket that is head light because it will cause injuries on shoulder and arm. Been there Done that But maybe, if the shaft stiffnes stops the momentum enough it could work?
I had a friend with an 3U MX80 that was 90.0g dry wt. That thing was a beast. Super stiff and as head heavy as the 3U VTZF that I tried.
I don't think there's any change in the MX80 except for the color. I think N90 or N90 II is rated HH and Super Stiff too
Well, I don't know but "visor" guides to a stiffer frame with the old color viktor mx80, IMO? Yes, with reviews on li-ning n90 its very stiff which was my first choice! I wonder why they don't do super stiff rackets which could easy fixed with lead-tape or something else. If the racket is to soft in smashes using very stiff rackets, then there is nothing you can do about it. Maybe Im wrong?
MX80N (for new) is new for 2014, and has more white colour. From the racket charts I've seen, Victor has moved it down in stiffness compared to JJS and MX90. So... N90 1 and 2 may be also hard to find? But I don't remember them as stiff as MX80.
You may want to try RKEP Eric to see if he can get hold of any remaining MX80 old, and ask him to pick the one with highest bp.
thanks visor, so the mx80 should be between 2010-12? And for someone like me that haven't seen the original color, makes it very difficult to place an correct order?
