Hey all, after playing with the MX - JJS for some time, i just realized that the paint (especially on top of the frame) isn't so durable. I was surprised a chip appeared just after my racket hit the ground (only light impact). I heard nail polish works, is this true? Will the racket paint be almost the same as the original? I also have some plans for this racket, this was given to me by my cousin. I hope i can fix this it. or maybe just sand it down? lol
Sure, it'll work for small or hardly noticeable chips. This tip is from an authorized auto body repair expert. He..he..he..
Can't barely see it, from yr pic. However, if u value the racket then u probably should not use it to play doubles. Rackets that are often used never stay in pristine shape after a couple of months of frequent use, stop worrying about it
Thanks and lol, i was testing out JJS in the rough surfaced backyard when i accidentaly dropped it. As i said it was only a minor impact to the ground but i still saw a chip. Now i learned my lesson, better use it only in tournaments (especially now that JJS is almost getting out of stock). I'll take care if it. How about for the other racket? (The one with so many chips) Should i sand it down or should i just repaint it again? Thanks
