Sponsorship for young players

  1. Yonex are starting a new sponsorship program for young players under 21 in the US. It's going to be similar to the Yehlex programs in Europe. You enter a local stage competition and if you reach the final rounds, you can quality for free Yonex equipment for the next two seasons.

The Yehlex competitions aren't that hard, as most national and state players aren't eligible. It's mostly aimed at good high school players and as a marketing event, as thousands of players of all levels enter.

I don't know what level the sponsorship will be yet, but Yehlex give two rackets, one pair of shoes, one track suit, and four t-shirts per season. You also get discounts on strings.
