I just bought a karakal bn60 and put it on a precise scale. It shows 71g. Is it a fake racket? Anyone ever measured the weight of the frame? Thanks

I have a arcsaber fb. After string and overgrip, the two weigh almost the same. I thought bn60 should be lighter since karakal claims it is the lightest frame in the world.
Karakal measures differently from the standard method we are familiar with, so I wouldn't expect 60 grams. Mid 70s with string is what I'd expect. I think Karakal weighs w/o the grip or something like that.
It is a bit misleading and it throws many people off when looking at Karakal rackets and comparing specs vs other manufacturers.
I have Bn60 and ArcFB. Bn60 is definitely lighter than ArcFB. Whatever is the weight, doesnt change the fact that is one of the lightest ones around.
How is the durability of Karakal BN60? i plan to buy 2 pcs, will be strung NBG99 @28x30Lbs. Question is, would the racket survive such high tension and constant accidental clash with other amateur rackets? For $180/2pcs BN60, is BN60 worth every penny? or might just be another yet famous and fragile ArcFB?
Minor clashes would be fine But if you're gonna clashes now and then 24/7 then I don't recommend this. Why would you keep clashing anyways.
not exactly constant clashing. but i play with group, which majority are oldies and beginner players. i've broken few expensive rackets due to accidental clashing with partners. i meant, few real deadly clash where the partner's racket was intentionally swung toward my racket with max power...where the shuttlecock was headed. That's how mine broke, and his/theirs broke too... but compared in price, mine were mostly above $130 each..theirs... $40-50/pair.
Then I guess it'll be fine. Just try to avoid clashing. Its okay to miss some shots instead of breaking a racket. Clashing in not a problem once it really becomes a fear, I have broken a ZF2 and BN60. So now I really take care of my ZF2, BN60, ARC11TH etc...
The 60g is the frame weight. Does nt include weight of shaft and handle. I have clashed before but looks totally fine. Seems quite durable. Theres no paintjob on the racket so there will be no paint chips.
no paintjob on the racket? then it is pure carbon, which i can imagine the racket's frame and shaft will be rough skin!
BN60 is much stronger than FB. My FB was broken after 3 months without clashing. Fortunately, contacted the dealer and yonex sent me a replacement. On the other hand, bn60 was hit by other rackets a few times (not smash hit). There is not even a crack on the paint. Overall, BN60 is really good at controlling the bird. No power at all. FB is good at defense.
